영어로 성경 읽기-2

 

 

마태복음 3장에서 5장까지 읽었음니다.

주된내용은 헤롯왕이 동방박사의 천기누설(?)로 베들레헴과 그주변에사는

두살미만의아이들을 모두죽이는 사건이 일어남니다.

 

헷롯왕이 죽고 예수는 아버지와 어머니와함께 이스라엘로 돌아갑니다.

그리고 돌아와서 예수는 요한으로 부터 세례를 받음니다.

 

예수는 악마에게 유혹을 받아 광야로 나가게 되고 그곳에서 여러시험을 당하지만

예수님은 " 사탄아 물러가라"하면서 악마를 물리치심니다.

 

그리고 전도를 시작 하셨음니다.

 

이때 제자 베드로라불리는  시몬과 그의동생 안드레아와 야고보와 그의동생 요한을 제자로

하고 그들에게 이렇 이야기 하십니다.

 

I will make you fishers of man.  

 

그리고 온 갈릴레아를 돌아다니시며 여러병환자를 치료하시고그 유명하신 산상 설교를 하십니다.

 

The beatitudes

 

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

 

Blessed are they who mourn,

for they will be comfort

 

Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the land.

 

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will be satified.

 

Blessed are the merciful,

for they will be shown mercy.

 

Blessed are the clean of heart,

for they will see God.

 

Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called children of God.

 

Blessed are they who are persecuted,

for the sake of righteousness,

for there is the kingdom of heaven. 

 

그리고 세상의 소금과빛, 예수님과 율법,화해,간음에 대해,

이혼에대해,정직과 복수등 많은 말씀을 하십니다.

 

이중 또 많이 들었던 말중 따라하기가 가장 어려운 말씀 한마디를 옮깁니다.

 

"When someone strikes you on right cheek, turn the  other one to him as well"
