여행이 만들어주는 인연
이번 태국여행중 방콕의왕궁을 관광하던날 우연히 함께한 사람들은
모두 미국인으로 뉴욕에서 온 젊은 연인, 하와이에서온 키큰 아줌마,
그리고 나이가 좀 드신 할머니와 우리 가족이었음니다.
함게 왕궁을 가이드의 설명을 들으며 보고, 그리고 우리는 열심히
( 여행후 오래남는건 사진뿐이라는 나의 오래된 경험에 의해)
사진을 찍고 있는데 인디에나에서 오신 할머니가 사진을 못찍고
조금은 울상인 모습에 왜 그러냐고 물으니까 디카의 받데리가
다되어 사진을 못찍는다는 것이었음니다.
그래서 딸한테 사정이야기를 우연히 이야기하니 우리가 찍어주고
메일로 보내주면 되지 않냐고 제안해서 미국할머니한테 이야기하니 즉시
정말 고맙다는 말과 함게 자기 메일주소를 적어주어
우리가족과 함게 그리고 따로 사진 몇장 촬영해서
아래 메일과 함께 딸이 보내드렸음니다.

이렇게 여행중 만나게 사람과의 인연으로 주고받는 이야기는
여행을 한층 따뜻하게 해주는것 같음니다.
아무튼 이번태국여행은 불편함을 전혀 못느낀 기분좋은
가족 이벤트였으며 이 미국할머니가 말하는 " A fairy tale"과 같은
우리가족에 좋은 여행지였음니다.
